Last Wednesday evening, my aunt and her family arrived here in the Philippines. The last time she went home that was 2007, so the gap is 11 years and that’s pretty huge. Its expected that there are lots of changes not just my family here in Philippines but also my aunt’s family too. For my aunt’s side she now has a son, since the last time she went it was only her eldest daughter which was still months old at that time.
When they arrived at home, we were so overjoyed to see my aunt and her family since we only got to talk with them thru Messenger sometimes and most of the time thru Facetime. My cousins were happy too and were so grateful to see us and they hugged our grandmother in person. That night my aunt was so happy that we prepared utan bisaya nga gisubakan og isda and to her excitement she told her kids to try eating Filipino food. Thankfully they tried and eat the food, as seen in the photo below.
This week was full of bonding and today since its Saturday, we decided to have a bonding before they go home tomorrow. My aunt and her family, stayed in Movenpick Hotel and arranged a some sort of family reunion or bonding. All of the members of our family went there and hang out by swimming together in the beach and have some deep conversations. And since I’m a bit tired today, lemme just share some of the pictures I’ve taken.
Well, those are just the glimpse of the moments I’ve had with my family and so looking forward for the success and togetherness of my family in the foreseeable future.
All images captured using my smartphone iPhone 6 and except the third photo which was taken by the husband of my aunt and using iPhone X and shared thru Messenger.
