Oh yeah, very popular here in South America, I'm not sure if ' Shoestring fries' is correct could be that name or potato sticks or crispy potato strings. We use them for sandwiches, hot dogs, and hamburgers. They give a crispy touch; when you take a bite, they sound quite crunchy, and it's a pleasant taste.
