like flour and yeast; umixed.
an unleavened dough In the oven.
without fire to the shard.
a lonely lamb lost in a facade
a story to be told,
yet unwritten and unprepared.
We're clay.
in the hands of the creator.
waiting to be moulded.
with the gifted curse of dominion.
We are lost souls,
In the middle of the equator.
looking for paradise on earth.
we're effiggies breathing borrowed air
through a rented lungs.
We're clay
laying around the dusty earth.
trampled on, and stumbled upon
but raised as a warriors.
we're a living proof of dead carcasses
who's brought sweetness by and by.
passing through swiftly,
in the passage of Hades.
to the marvellous sidewalks of life.
We're clay.
imperfected;
incommunicado and non-existo
we are the sifts and soot,
that gets blown with the wind.
but today, gods through the unknown.
We're clay.
in the hand of the creator.
waiting to be moulded to perfection
POETIC ANALYSIS
This is a poem that speaks about the nothingness of man,Without God the creator, it's a allusion, a poem that relays the supremacy of God, In the life of the ordinary man, it emphasises the fact that man must attribute his existences to God, that's why the title "YOU'RE CLAY" is like the bible story of how man was created from dust and clay, and breathed life upon.
The poem is a four line stanza without any recognized rhymes, it does not have a metric arrangement, and used metaphoric expression well.
