It's a genetic blood disorder, chronic and lifelong. So I experience these flare ups that can be caused by infections and when they happen, the system begins to breakdown the red cells prematurely, causing pee in the blood and eventually anemia with complications to the kidneys, liver, brain and heart. It has no cure, so I've been living with it
