This inefficiency and slowness in simply getting an ID ready, is a proof that you're from African country, especially countries in the West.
As for people doing just fine despite how inflate eats into their income, for me, I think this is a consequence of mostly voting for the wrong people, so enduring the consequences of our actions doesn't feel too bad.
