I think Hive is attractive enough, and the prospects just makes some people want to game the system to their advantage. Maybe the spammer is a smart spammer and just didn't do it in a way that'll get them caught. Hive has keen eyes, and sometimes most of these trends are caught, although it might take time for some to notice it.
