I've seen it constantly play out many times and this is why I actually don't have a lot of in-real life friends. I have just few and this is the same with people I do business with, in real life as well. Trying to know or deal with everyone is exhausting. One will jump do everything and end up not doing anything. The illusion of having multiple options is actually not a profitable flex.
