I know what you mean. My aunt's closest friend died during childbirth because the doctor told her something really negative, and she couldn't mentally take it. I don't remember what the doctor told her, it's been over 10 years now.
Yeah. Some doctors can make it seem like it's the end of the world, however some of them are probably just saying things the way they see it.

Some doctors don't care about the mental health of their patient, so they just say what they need to say and they don't bother.
