In all sincerity I actually feel that this is a very dicey issue. But sometimes I used to ask myself the question is it actually what is to sacrifice freedom for safety. It's often dependence on the country where this issues happen. A Nigerian for example would prefer to be rather free and this is because this freedom ensures that they can provide food for their family. Governments of the world would want to even use covid-19 as an excuse for so many things including stripping people of their jobs trying to control their lives in the guise of safety. Used to feel that the general populace or the population of the different states in the world hardly knows the true story behind covid-19. I guess if this information was put out there the situation might be totally different from what it is at the moment.
I cannot Fully explain how totalitarianism operates, however its evident that since the inception of covid-19 people can no longer exercise their human rights. Believe I can even make a choice at the moment. Covid-19 is hardly existent in Nigeria I guess I will choose my freedom because the pandemic is a ruse here.
