I wouldn't overrule anything or term her a religious nut, because myself I'm a Christian and without a doubt things happen! However simplistically looking at it, she's definitely getting it all wrong, faith and belief might be misplaced really and this is something real and something dangerous, and we must acknowledge it with all alacrity.
