Interpreting The Concept

When I was about to participate in this art entry, I needed to create a compelling concept of what LPUD truly was. Basically, everyone understands the concept of staking or powering up.

The feeling that accompanies staking is that of satisfaction and celebration.

Of course, we know it as establishing commitment on hive. It's always a win-win situation when a person can establish commitment on the chain as well as grow themselves.

So we all know that LPUD is a definitive period where staking helps one reach milestones in terms of numbers and depicting this in an art form wouldn't totally be strange to me.

Establishing The Theme

So what I have is the drawing of a lion that's flexing its biceps with a table in front of him. On the table is a stake that's piercing through a coin.

So basically, biceps translates to strength and power. While the literal meaning of power, on hive or on leofinance, it totally differs, as owning power on hive is not physical strength, what it connotatively means is having skin in the game.

The Idea Of Staking In Art

So basically staking is like flexing one's biceps, waving their goals with pride and due diligence.

We all know that with more powered-up Leo, comes more curation rewards and other added benefits as well. This concept typically translates to the theme of the drawing.

Once again, I decide to use a man-lion depiction, instead of the regular lion. With my previous drawing, everyone already knows that I'm more of a Sketcher.

The Art Details

I feel that painting or coloring my drawings will kill the details. Details are the most intricate part of a sketch. This is how an artist gives identity to his art.

So I have used the shadings to create the right body effect.

So you'll basically understand the concept when you focus on the idea that the lion is a participant in LPUD, and flexing his biceps is a way of proving that he's trying participated in powering up. And the stake and stack of coins on the table is a proof of work.

This is the process of drawing, I majorly start my drawing by measuring how big or small I want it to be and I do this by drawing the mane on the lion's head.
