Lack of confidence: Asking for help constantly can decrease your confidence or will make you incapable at the time when it is importantly required to complete that task all alone, especially in the case of emergencies.

I used to be guilty of this some years ago,i was too dependent on my elder brother and it got to a point i could not do anything on my own without him,i got into so much emotional trauma when he travelled abroad for his degree programs,i became kind of depressed because he was not available to help me to do some certain things
