Doing the things we DON'T want to, in order to get the things we WANT! - DTUBE DAILY #43

Hey everyone!

In today's video I want to talk about doing the things that we don't want to, in order to get what we want. Aka, things that are sometimes necessary.

At the end of the month I'll be moving back up to South Dakota. I left SD over 2 1/2 years ago now with the full intention of achieving my dreams: becoming a full time travel vlogger. It's been one hell of a ride and I've experienced things I'll never forget. But, not everything has gone perfectly so far. I haven't become financially stable on the road, and now I need to go home to save.

Once I get back I'm going to be looking for a full time job. I have a couple short term goals I'd really like to achieve, and that's going to Europe to visit Laura, and saving up enough $$ to invest in a van I can convert into a home on wheels. I'm going to start working a job I 'don't want to do' in order to fully realize these goals.

I'll also still continue to be working on and growing the film business with my brother. He's moving back up to SD as well! It's just going to take time. And in the meantime, I can work another job to support myself and continue trying to open as many doors as I can to continuous travel and making videos for a living.

So yeah, sometimes we have to do the things we don't want to in order to achieve the things we do, and that's perfectly ok. Life isn't always going to be super smooth and things will go differently then how we want them to (most of the time) and we have to adjust to those changes and make the best of it. There's still so much to be happy for, and I know I won't regret having money in my pocket the next time a big trip opportunity comes up, and get another shot at making travel videos.

I hope you guys can relate to this and it was possibly a bit enlightening for some of you. We don't always get what we want, but we can do our bests to keep the door open for when opportunity comes. ;)
