Why you NEED a quality TITLE and THUMBNAIL! - DTUBE DAILY #34

In today's video I want to talk about the importance of a great title and thumbnail for your videos!
As I was sitting there the other day working on my thumbnail for that day's video, I realized this was a topic worth discussing. When I shoot a video, I spend a decent amount of time afterwards producing a quality thumbnail and an interesting title to go along with it. Why are these things important and worth investing my time into?
Title and thumbnail are important because this is what gets people to actually click on your video and absorb, hopefully, all of it's content. The content of your video is what truly matters, and you want to make sure this lines up well with your title and thumbnail (NO CLICKBAIT!), but getting people to click onto your video is the first step.
After each video I film, I take one more shot where I frame up a nice background and then do a few poses for the thumbnail. I'll then take a frame that works best from that clip and put it into my photo editing software. After I adjust the colors and smooth the look of the photo out, I'll import it back into my video editing software to add text, and then finally I'll take that file and upload it as the snap on my DTube video!
This process takes time, but it's time wisely spent. Even if your video has the most quality content in the world, if no one is willing to click on your thumbnail, no one is going to discover all the value that you have to offer them. Adding an interesting title that raises curiosity makes for a perfect combo to get people to actually watch your video.
