So here it is!

The Kingdom!

A project that @jangle and I have been discussing for a while now and we're happy to have it launched...

Quick note: This will be my account for my Christian walk on Hive. My main account is @jongolson and I have a lot of people that added my account to fan bases and curation trails, so to respect their votes I decided to start a fresh account just for this new community we are going to build :)

And what is the Kingdom?

Janelle (@jangle) and I discussed creating a bible study group for the Hive community some time ago and the idea was pretty straight forward...A friendly, non-denominational group that would dive into scripture together...

Weekly bible studies on Zoom would be in the mix as well, plus a discussion group inside of Discord but mainly a community of bible curious people looking to strengthen their understanding of God's word together.

Oh boy...What a can of worms right?

So many denominations in the Christian faith, and there is bound to be questions and debates...

That's why we hope to have Matthew 7:12 as our guiding verse with this project...

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets..." (KJV)

We will dive into scripture together, respectfully and as brothers and sisters in Christ!

The goal...Shine our light to the world and strengthen our faith....Together!

So this is The Kingdom...

A safe place to ask questions about the bible...Learn about Jesus...Discover the amazing truths of scripture...And have a lot of fun doing it...
