I wanted to do a blog that highlights some great music that, for once, is not drum & bass. So for episode 7 we will delve into the unknown a bit more. I do these posts because i enjoy sharing my love for music, nothing more.

An old friend from Germany introduced me to Grego Tresher in 2010, and i was instantly inspired by his sounds. Not sure how i'd class it, maybe uplifting techno. Better to just enjoy and forget the labels maybe. Such a beautiful piece of electronic music.
SCNTST - Thru Infinity
Released in 2016, Thru Infinity is a track that hooked me right away, with it's alluring synths and atmosphere, this track conjures up a youthful, vibrant and explorative essence in the listener. The sort of production techniques that move you in and out of many dimensions.
Dark Tantrums - Unborn
Here is a deep track released on the DEEP MEDI Musil label in 2012, i cannot believe this track is 7 years old, but it just goes to show that all good music is timeless. Dark Tantrums put out what i would reference as the track that epitomizes dub step and what dub step is all about. This track is on another level, in every way.
Enigma - Return To Innocence (Long & Alive Version)
I was programmed with the sounds of Michael Cretu from a very young age. The mystical sounds of early Enigma really had an effect on me when i was a child. When return to innocence hit the charts, everyone was listening to the music that could positively effect people's psyche for the better, it did with me. Ever since, i have bought every Enigma album. I think songs like this are even more pertinent and relevant now than when they were released 20 years ago. The first Enigma album was released in 1990, entitled MCMXC a.D. contemplate while listening to that album and you'll be inspired.
The Caretaker - I Have Become Almost Invisible, To Some Extent Like a Dead Man
If you come across someone who wants to tell you the meaning of this tune, then walk away, and continue to listen.

Maybe her greatest live performance. Alanis has a wisdom much older than her years, that permeates your soul when you listen to her music.
Burial - Come Down To Us
Quite possibly the most enigmatic and inspirational producer we've seen in the UK over the last 20 years, maybe forever. Certainly in my lifetime. This man's music is the closest thing to describing the struggle of life, but also the beauty of life at the same time. To me, that is art. All of of his music is pure gold, that will live beyond any of us.
