If you ever stop doing what you love, even for a short while, you are doomed, you will lose the gift, not just the inspiration, you can create without being inspired over and over again, but my biggest lesson was stopping. It completely killed my flow and that year after year consistent flow appears to be absolutely irretrievable. There are other sources of creativity, inspiration, work, flow etc but that one that is rooted deep within, that has been there since childhood and through the best and worst of times is more than likely the source of creativity that you should never, ever stop.
