The past 7 days have been something new for Jongo!
This is the first 'offline work week' I have basically had in my adult life lol. Pretty much since 2003-ish, I have worked full time on my online businesses. But since the 'PayPal fiasco' from a few years ago, I've been trying to rebuild. I've had highs and lows since PayPal shut my account down in 2017, and the highlight of all highlights was discovering this blockchain!
Unfortunately, it just has been enough to keep my family taken care of so I had to find an...Gasp....Offline job!
Thankfully, I did find something that I enjoy doing, but it's been a different experience waking up every day by an alarm clock and doing the 'commute' per se. And because of the 9-10 hours a day I'm putting in, my time on chain has been cut back drastically.
And I'm sure we will see this translate in a lot of my creation rewards going forward. No matter what though, I have made a commitment to create every single day, but if you see that I'm not around as much, that's why.
No matter what, I'll still engage. It just might take a me a day or two to respond lol.
I plan to keep being active here because this blockchain WILL be what feeds my family in the future. But right now, I need to spend some precious time...Offline.
Still grateful, for every opportunity I have to engage with amazing people that call this blockchain home....
Love the climb up and I went over 91,000 HP this past week.
The Power Up Day helped as I found some liquid Hive and got it staked...Slow and steady, but if things keep going like this I'll be able to at least hit 100k by the end of the year if not sooner....

This is exciting to me, seeing 100k in my sights and knowing that I won't have to power down because of my offline job. Heck, I might even have some extra fiat to invest...Imagine that :)

We're most definitely not seeing the rewards from a few weeks ago, but at the end of the day, I have no control over the creation rewards I receive. I do however influence my curation rewards and that will grow as my HP grows.
I saw a 8.77% APR on my curation over the past 7 days, which is awesome...I'd love to get that back to 10% though :)

If I can keep this around these numbers for the next few weeks while I work to get into a schedule I can manage.....By balancing offline work, online work and family life.....I'll be VERY happy!
