#MyHiveGoals Becomes #MyLeoGoals

So it's my first post in the 2024 version of....

And this year, we're doing things a little different. In fact, I'll be brutally honest with you, my focus, my passion and my 'goals' have changed a lot over the past few months and it'll reflect that in my weekly posts.

In fact, my goals that I outlined last week....Are actually changing already lol

And let me explain.....

First up, I've always been 'long term focused' here on chain. There's been a few times I've powered down but generally over the past 6 years I've built, held and grown my account here.

But after sitting down with my wife this past week, and doing some soul searching, I want to try to 'earn' from the chain as well this year. Which means, I plan on 'taking profits' weekly on chain.

How will I be doing that?

I'll be taking some of the $HBD I earn weekly, and cashing it out to pay for every day living expenses. I did have the plan to try to build up my HBD to 10k this year but let me be honest....lol

2023 was a disaster for me when it comes to my 'career change' in trucking. And it's been really tight for my family, so it's time to start working towards making a living from my efforts here.

Now I'm not under any illusion, 30 bucks or so a week in HBD isn't going to feed the family lol However, 30 bucks a week, will help pay for a few bills here and there. And to me, that's a win!

I have revisited my thoughts about my totals for ZING as well, and while I'll be growing it throughout the year, it will not get too much of my disposable income. I plan on growing ZING through delegation and of course, that slick liquidity pool they have set up.

So what the heck are you even going to track now Jongo?

I'll give you a hint....

Yup, $LEO is the major focus for me in 2024....And let's see where we are this week:

So it reads 110k on Hive Stats, but that's actually 5k more than I own. @mcoinz79 being the epic Lion that he is, delegated 5000 LEO Power to me the other week and I'm so grateful for his support!

This is the current count for my goal in 2024 of hitting 150k LEO...

150,000 - 105,817.42 = 44,182.58 left to go

Here's the number that really has be excited....

To hit my goal here, I'll need to generate 123.76 LEO a day for the next 51 weeks left in the year.

Challenge....Accepted!

It's a little weird to track my curation on things like LEO, but I do see how I'm doing on Hive. This is what I pulled in over the past 7 days:

So what is the goal?

If I can get over 10% a week, I'll be thrilled!

I'm a big fan of curating a LOT on LEO. So I'll be making sure I'm active in Threads throughout 2024 and distributing the tokens as much as I can. Especially when it's a platform that encourages user activity and the like.....It's a no brainer for me, to spread it out as much as I can this year!

So overall, I think this will be a much better angle for me to focus on this year....

Hive will grow organically, which is awesome. I'll be able to use some of the profits from my efforts to help my family out. And I'll be enjoying my time on chain, with much less stress in my life lol
