We did a thing 7 days ago...
We think (and hope) it adds a ton of value to Hive.
Part of the game plan for this platform is to get feedback on what is needed and how it can improve over time.
We're trying to get the 'Hive mind' engaged with the project and over the past 7 days we've added a lot of your suggestions on how to improve...
One of the suggestions we got a lot over the past week was to allow member of Veews to 'open posts' in their preferred front end. Of course, we did that right away, and now in your 'settings' you can choose your preferred front end.
And this is why....
Sure, you can make comments (and we encourage you to do so) right in Veews, but at the end of the day, this platform is for....Content consuming by way of...Discovering :)

I can't remember who stated this but a few years ago a member of Hive once made a blog post that stated Hive doesn't have a creating problem, there's plenty of creative people here. What we lack, is content consumers.
I understand the argument but I'll always say we need both equally :)
Bringing it back though, Veews was never meant to be a front end where you would...Create.
It was and will be a front end that you 'consume' content. And with the improvement learning engine we've been working on today, we hope the consuming of content is something you truly enjoy on the blockchain.

But finding content on these platforms, unless it's your friends list or trending topics has been limited. And that's just the way a blogging platform should be. I don't think it needs to focus on content discovery because what it does, and does very well, is allow members to CREATE!
I guess that's my big vision here with Veews.
Let the front ends do what they do amazingly well, and let Veews be your door to content you never would have known existed on chain.
And that vision, from my own experience over the past 7 days, has led to some amazing experiences. I've seen some great content. Followed some amazing creators. Made a LOT more ocmments. And given out even more upvotes.
