If you were going to a fancy dress party what, or who would you go as and why?

I would love to be Netflix's Anne with an E, based on the well-loved children's book Anne of Green Gables.

I consider myself a kindred spirit like Anne. We have so many things in common! Like Anne, I am loud, talkative, optimistic and see the sunny side of everything. We have the same shortcomings, too: clumsy, tactless, and with such a temper!

But what I truly love about Anne is her innate resilience, courage and strength. She grew up as an orphan where she never truly belonged to anyone and experienced the worst childhood one can ever imagine, but she did not harbour resentment and anger in her heart. She's an inspiration!! I mean she could be having the worst mental health issues if she were a teenager nowadays BUT she turned out better than fine: She viewed her worst experience in a positive light, and she became a light to everyone when she arrived at Green Gables. I love how Anne sees everything--I MEAN EVERYTHING, GOOD AND BAD--as an adventure and an opportunity to grow!

Lastly, she's a headstrong feminist in the movie. I can totally resonate with that! She's ahead of her time--her views on marriage and love! I cannot wait for a Season 4 in Netflix. I already re-read the book twice as I wait. 😅

I would love to be her for a day.
