I think individuals may be reluctant, but corporations may start adding it as a reserve asset. No matter who buys we are seeing an expansion of the money supply that wasn't previously accounted for. If his model were to continue to be accurate, it's entirely possible it could undershoot what actually happens. Like you said though, the money is there, now we just need people to actually buy it.
