Senate Majority leader Rich Mitch really is the worst of the worst

I wanted to like him, I tried, I really did, but this guy is just he worst of the worst.

In a perfect example of this, see the latest proposal of $2k checks instead of the $600 checks he backed with the coronavirus relief bill.

Trump says be wants $2k checks, the House then goes and passes legislation for $2k checks as well.

Now it's just up to the Senate to put it up for a vote and it's a done deal.

Not only does McConnell not approved of it, but he doesn't even put it up for a vote.

He files legislation to attach the $2k checks to a full repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

If this act were repealed it would basically make social media platforms liable for what their users post/say.

Long story short, no chance in hell this passes.

And McConnell knew that would be the case.

He was just doing McConnell things yet again. He gets to say that he wasn't the Grinch because he drafted legislation for Americans to get $2k checks and it was everyone else who didn't pass it, even though he knows it would never pass.

It's a poison pill.

So this way he gets to ensure the $2k checks don't pass while also not being the bad guy and hurting the Senate Run off in Georgia.

Congrats McConnell, you win, again, per usual, while the rest of the country looses.
