So I normally post in the morning here and I get a good amount of feedback.
Thought I'd share an early evening post this time to see how I fare.
Just 6 pictures of pieces set aside to finish at another time...if at all.
This one is a close-up of my fiddlehead fern fairy carved in cedar. She's a little gal at 12 inches tall and that's all I will share of her at the moment because I plan to write a post for her exclusively.
Next is this snake piece I've been working on for a couple years. Was a cut-off of a larger piece that I had to glue together. I'll finish it eventually.
Here's a mouse I was planning on adding to the snake piece but he looks too much like a bear..set aside...
Heres an anime piece that's still in the works 2 years in. Sits on a shelf in the shop.
This guy was carved a few years ago and I messed his one side up, so he became an abstract hack...he's also black walnut and makes my skin itch when I carve on him.
Lastly I'll share this saw blade that I'm taking my time painting. Planning on carving something to hold it on the wall, like a tree, perhaps with a wolf at the bottom, howling upward toward the owl.
All of these will eventually be finished and I will most definitely share here.
