Here I'd like to share my plans for the near future.
For the last decade I've been working my tail off to keep up with a storefront and home separately. I'm carving like a madman to pay two sets of bills. My rent, utilities and insurance for my business and then the same for my home.
It would be ok if the store paid for itself..but it has slowed down the last couple years and has cost me more than it makes me.
So here's my plan...
I've recently acquired a 5 acre parcel thats a perfect spot to build. Its on the opposite end of my parent's 43 acre property.
My plan is to build a pole barn style home/workshop. Will be closing my store but have space in my plans for a gallery that will be open to the public on a monthly basis.
This property has great potential and if all goes as planned it will begin this year.
I will make sure to share this experience with you.
