This piece was carved in my 2nd competition that I participated in back in 2013. We had 9 hours over the weekend to complete our masterpiece that would be judged at the end. Theme was "Nature coming together" and I took 2nd place with mother nature.

At this point I had about an hour left to finish up
And here I am standing next to it proudly just before judging. I stand 5'11" tall
We were allowed to either sell them at the show or bring them home. I chose the latter. Well it was really because nobody bought it. Some pieces take awhile for the right buyer to come along. With this piece it took a couple years, you can see how the weather aged it. Turned it all grey, I actually like when it does this
But the customer who bought it wanted it freshened up just a bit
I looked all over for the finished picture but could only find this one. I ended up changing the eagle into an owl and cutting off the animals at the bottom
This was a fun piece to carve and watch age while I had it. It went to a great customer who collects my work. I hope you like and thank you for looking.
