It was about 10:30 pm,the night was cold the air was filled with smoke from burning tires and fire crakers,i could smell it all. It was 31st night,dec 2017. I had just gotten home after a couple of drinks with my buddies. I could feel it in my fingers... i was ready to make my first post on steemit. "My introductory post." That post changed my status on steemit. Financially.
Let's go back to about a month ago. I joined stemmit on the 19th of dec last year (out of curiosity ). A friend @samstickkz had been making post on fb about the site for over 6 months. So i thought I'd just breifly look it up.
I finally got approved,and boy was i shocked and confused!
So i asked @samstickkz for help as to my way around steemit. I really appreciate his effort to answer my questions (if you've ever tried to mentor a total newbie you'll understand ). Later that evening he send me a link to a whatsapp group called "STEEMBEES" and said it was gonna help me .
I joined the STEEMBEES group. I didn't know what to expect. I made a little introduction telling the group i was new,and the response i got melted my heart! Everyone was welcoming and wanted to know if i had any questions. (.....Sighs) "this is where i want to be." i said to myself .
After reading and listening to voicenotes on guides to making my first post. I knew i was ready! For the first 10 days i was in the steembees room, i met a lot of amazing, inspiring, and lovely people! From @klyn to
@ishotz... from
@prechi to
@ewuso (thats our "BOUNCER") . With over 240 active members...(i cannot come and go and kill myself mentioning all your names) there's no dull moment in the steembees groups .
Why should you join the group?
I'll tell you why
