You can 10 token per day for just being active on the site, (viewing pages) You also can receive more coins on comments you make on other peoples posts if they receive upvotes.
And also you can make your own posts and get token from upvotes on your own posts. By leveling up your profile you receive a higher reward for each upvote. Right now I use it mostly as a way to spread my work and gain a following rather than withdrawing the reward.
