So today was kind of exciting for me because i got the privilege of working on a Voltage Transformer (VT). For those who do not know what a VT is, a Voltage Transformer is used in electrical power system for stepping down the system voltage which can then be fed to low rating meters and relay.
For today's job, we were tasked with testing the VT to find out if they are in good working conditions before installing. An Omicron CPC 100 was used to inject certain voltages in to the VT to test if they are in good working conditions or not.
As for my title "my new found love
" , i have discovered that i have fallen in love with the power sector and i am fascinated by the things there to the extend that i look forward to the next day's work with enthusiasm.
