So Sunday was the 75th Anniversary of the village where we live. We've only been here for six. The village itself is very family and community oriented. They always have fun activities for the kids and nice community events though the year.
Today was the community picnic celebrating 75 Years of the village.
We started out with a parade.
Showed up in our front lawn, or street is basically the staging area for the parade.
Then we walk over and set up our chairs to watch the parade.
After the parade we head down to village hall for a picnic. They had a bounce house and some games for the kids like

All in all, a good day!
Oh and we walked from our house down to the event and back... Hence the number of steps.
