So yesterday we set out for a grand adventure.
Well, the kids were getting a grand adventure and i was planning a day where all they had to do until dinner was have fun.
We went to breakfast. Then at breakfast i always here the inevitable question:
I thought I would be able to escape the trip because they typically don't open until 9am EST and we were there a little after 8a.
Then my son noticed someone walking into the store.
Dad, theeeeere nooooot closed!
I look over and shit, wouldn't you know it; they're open.
I took them in and ended up buying some fake teeth and a badminton set.
Then we came home and planned out the afternoon.
I took the kids to a nice metropark to go fishing and ride their bikes around. We meet up with their uncle and cousin spending the afternoon at the park.
We had a nice packed lunch at the park
We got home just in time for me to make dinner and head out to work for a couple hours.
A grand time.
