Value.
If you want to grow on steemit, get followers, upvotes, resteems etc. your posts need to provide visitors with useful information for their future. The secret to success is providing value to the other.
If you want to sell a product f.e. you must 1st convince the prospect that your product has more potential value to him than the money he needs to pay for it.
Analogically, for a steemit post to receive upvotes, resteems & attention, the value (advice, usefulness of information) of your post must exceed that of the time that the visitor spends to read your post.
So, if you think you have something you think is worth sharing, that you think visitors can benefit from seeing go on & post it.
On the other side, if you just want to post something for the upvotes, follows etc & don't focus on the content you're on the wrong path, my friend.
Your steemit posts should be useful, valuable, easy to read & entertaining.
Keep it short. Keep it simple. Keep it real.
