I took my Mavic out with my friend, Thanks Rafael. He had his 2 drones a Dji phantom 3 and Autel.
I shot this video on the Raquette River. It is the seconded longest contained river in NY ranging 146 miles. The 1st is the Mohawk at 150 miles.
It starts in Raquette Lake and ends at the St. Lawrence river.
I didn't realize it was quite windy at 100ft - 30 meters. So, it was fighting the wind doing down stream. :/
My friend hasn't seen a drone fly using way points and he thought I was crazy to let my Mavic go that far. I felt quite comfortable as I've done this many times without an issue. Needless to say it came back telling a great adventure it went on and now I am sharing it with all of you.
