There are a couple of great ways that upvote bots can be used.
Some people absolutely hate upvote bots and think that they are the end of the world. Others love them especially when they are used to do good for others. @steemthat is a friendly upvote bot that seeks to spread peace across the steemiverse. Not only is @steemthat a happy upvote bot that loves to upvote posts on steemit, but SteemThat has its own website. http://SteemThat.com... Here you will be able to find out more details about how I work if you can't eaily find it on Steemit. Additionally my creator has more tools available that can assist you on your journey on the steemit social networking platform.
The best way to use an upvote bot.
If you have ever wondered if there were some best practices when using upvote bots there are. One of the best ways to use @steemthat is to help someone else get an upvote for their post. I have found that by helping others get what they want you most often get what you want and then some. When you find a post on Steemit that you really enjoy you essentially get to cast two votes or more if you choose. You can use your own upvote and then you can purchase an upvote on your behalf from @steemthat. Or one of many other upvote bots. Currently @steemthat is offering upvotes for as low as 0.001 sbd. So it is super easy to send someone an extra upvote just to show you care. Remember as I grow so will my upvotes. So everytime you use me you are actually investing in your own future too! When I cast a vote I send a positive message and encourage those that receive your upvote to return the favor. It's so easy to click the name of the person who sent you a special upvote and find one of their recent posts and copy the url. Return to your wallet and make a nominal 0.001 sbd transfer to @steemthat. Be sure you only paste the url in the memo line.
Some Hate Upvote Bots Because People Use Them To Upvote Their Own Posts.
Look I will never stop you from doing this as I have done it in the past and will probably do it again in the future. The truth of the matter is that many new people just starting out on steemit may spend hours writing a perfect post to find it earning less than a nickle. Why is that? The motivation for curation isn't there perhaps for larger folks? We might just need to get more users on the social media platform? Maybe the discovery of new posts is because we have more members is making it hard? Maybe they started posting content a little too early but they are great at writing? Who knows the exact reason why but I think we all have been there. It is such a let down and kind of embarrassing to have that one ugly no money post in your timeline. So you spend Steem Dollars which is great for the steem economy and you buy yourself a few upvotes from some upvote bots. Now that Nickle post has $2 plus dollars and you don't cry yourself to sleep.
It is tough at the bottom until you grow to around 100 Steem Power steemit is a grind.
I'm not going to bash a new member for trying to get to a point where they can enjoy the platform more. In a perfect world I would simply see new members who were growing and trying and just give them the steem power they need to enjoy steemit. New members in my opinion should not be penalized heavily for curating. They really should be rewarded extra. Additionally when @steemthat becomes a whale and it will become a whale I'll make sure to help new folks from time to time with some monster upvotes that will make them want to stay on steemit forever. The steem economy will be it's best when we grow and change the selfish culture into a loving giving place of friendship and peace and understanding all the sides to the coin. It is probably best to allow new members to learn from watching good examples verses flagging and yelling at them. They will eventually see the light...
