Love art deco, but then I'm in love with the Thirties and that whole era. I wanted an ISBN and so I went the pulishinhg route with press release and a newspaper interview and countless trips to bookstores but then came Kindle and I went totally indie and frankly, it's just as much work because you try harder. There's no simple solution, IMHO, but now I'm writing for me and frankly I don't give a damn. Ray Souster, a Canadian poet confided to me that he tried but coiuldn't get the writing monkey off his back. Art for art's sake...yeah, I'm hooked or addicted, but sing in my chains like the sea :) Btw, it helps if you have a spouse who can word process and worked for a publisher...and supports you. I do.
