Authors sometimes fall in love with their characters - I suppose that's the up and the downside of writing in those longer genres. In one of my stories, I met Astrid, one of my characters who claimed to be a goddess. It was upsetting even to write about it. That's what happens when the lines blur between who you are and what you write...and maybe they're not blurred at all :)
