I'm so sorry. I'll do better. Mea culpa. Okay, lol, I think I've indulged all my Catholic guilt - some things stay with you forever, I guess.

You always encourage me, my friend, but I just can't bring myself to see a poem earn 14 cents - the last poem I posted - and that on Steemit, no less, where the rewards were always higher. I'd post on both sites, but that would open another can of worms and I'm apolitical and don't want to get caught up in a site rivalry.

Yeah, I think it's mainly a matter of avoiding the pain of seeing poetry devalued as compared to prose. Maybe it's the mining aspect of crypto, that a 1200 word post represents more work than a 100 word poem and should be rewarded more highly.

Why aren't you hanging out on Hive? Are you still posting on Steemit? I divested myself of all my Steem and invested in Hive. I felt that was being demanded of me at the time that I had to choose one site and I felt more comfortable with Hive.

Is it the lack of community? I don't see much back and forth except with the old guard who always support one another. You had quite a large following - I'll bet you could win back some of your old supporters who would be glad to see you. Let me know what you think.
