This poem is really touching especially for believers who understand the many allusions within the text to the Christian response to loss of a loved one. We don't mourn as others do, but we do experience loss - but it's loss infused with hope of an eventual reunion. Console yourself with this, my friend - it's very evident from the poem that this person was deeply loved and now is deeply missed - I can think of no better tribute to his memory...and yes, I keep you in my prayers :)
