Hi Arthur! Good to see you. Yes, I am an eternal optimist ...I think people are surprised because some of my writing is dark but I like to think I have that romantic readiness for life that Nick Carroway saw in Gatsby ...but it also has to be tempered with a healthy dose of pragmatism. The more I watch the news and see the curtain being pulled back on corrupt motives , greed and racism the more I feel the need to balance the picture and portray reality for what it is.
