Yes, my wife was on steemit for a while but wasn't a fan - it wasn't for her

I've had friends that I brought on the site that failed to stay - the reasons vary but ultimately it's either a fit or it isn't. I've gone through rough spots myself but I feel comfortable here and enjoy the community which by and large is much more kind and supportive than most social media sites.

I have a Twitter account, for instance, and several friends there, but I'm largely absent from the site - I just felt it never really did much for me - Steemit however has been a big help
