Words are one degree removed from reality and thereby create their own world - and once you get into allusions and subtext you can get lost with no GPS or way to navigate at all. It's a skill and an art that sometimes makes beautiful music or sometimes is just notes on a piano. Sometimes you get lost in the melody and that alone is worth it all.
