The Russian poet, Yevtushenko, wrote: as we get older, we get honester...and that's a consolation I suppose. We see the bankruptcy of pretence and are more authentic. I was once told I had the mind of a child, and it's true. I still search after enchantment and have an insatiable sense of wonder. I suspect you are exactly the same my friend and like Gatsby have a romantic readiness for life that goes beyond mere physical desire. You must live to be a hundred because otherwise you'll feel cheated - that you missed out on something :)
