I liked your poem. I think poetry is well accepted on this platform but it takes a lot of patience to get established and have a following. May I suggest that you don't put the tag (Poetry) in the title

sometimes I write simply to recreate the ambiance of the moment - as if the elements that compose that experience can be summoned again and conjured up to reproduce the same effect

Strangely, I don't revisit these kinds of experiences - it's as if I intuitively know they're never-to-be-repeated moments

I agree although with me such moments usually surface in dreams
