The Flatiron building
In the rain—

One hazy day;

Drizzle and fog horns
By the bay,

I feel I’m walking
On a grave.

The city’s lost
In a mist;

Not even sure
What century it is.

But I’d follow
This street
To eternity

If I knew
You’d be there
Waiting
For me.
