The situation right now in Splinterlands is pretty clear as we are in a death spiral where mainly prices of cards aren't holding up which makes buying packs a sure way to get absolutely crushed over time.

Cards turned out to be the worst asset class in this game which is sort of ironic since this is a card game. I still think the CP proposal that passed is better for the game where as the new draft proposal will no doubt cause more people to leave the game.
