That's an intriguing idea. I would be scared of adding complexity for the normies though.

The price of Hive isn't stable though. What happens if it spikes to say $8 like during Steem's peak? This would 100% break the game IMO. I honestly think it would break the game way before Hive reached

Even the smallest fee would have a big effect on games like Splinterlands and layer 2 apps. My guess is they would either create their own blockchain or go to another blockchain that doesn't have fees.

Don't get me wrong, rewards are certainly nice, but I think we all like to get underlying enjoyment from whatever we participate in. THIS. That's why I can never force myself to make comments. I just let

It definitely feels like you have blogging experience. I can tell because it was a good read with a nice flow and rhythm. New blood on Hive/Leofinance is always good. Then I found Steemit -- only to learn

You got 48 hours to guess. Lol, who needs 48 hours?

More and more governments looking at George Orwell's '1984' as a blueprint and not as a warning. SMH.

I think they need just enough of an HP delegation to get started. It can't be nothing because then they won't be able to post anything or if it's too little, they will run into out of RC too fast and will

Why not reserve funds for delegating to deplatformed authors who come to Hive and Leo? I think what might be a better variation of the same basic idea is to only approach those influencers who have been

Agree. I'm fine if they do it out of their own pockets though.

The only time they use something like Hive is to post links to their other sites all over the post. LOL. Funny because it's so true. This idea is similar to a 'premine' for the "influencers".

Remember what happened when the price of Steem pumped to $8? We had a lot of Youtubers/influencers come here to cash in, then cash out when the price went back down. Where are they now? Meanwhile the loyal

Linear curation is far more fair. I have never understood why people doing zero work (auto-voting) should get better rewards for people who actually take the time to read and comment on posts.

I don't know what happened but Youtube's recommendations used to be so good for me years ago, but now not lately. Lately it's been awful and I've been using Youtube less and less. Nowadays Youtube is too

Dear God, I can not tell you how much I wish I had kept my BTC instead of using it to buy Steem. Nothing I can do about it. Spilled milk as they say...

lol

Democracy is definitely in trouble. This whole "cancel culture" phenomenon has got to be one of the most disgusting things I've witnessed in a long time. You don't have a democracy if all you

That's horrible! Thanks for the warning!

OMG! Thanks for the heads up.

Also gave this guild a go after recognizing one member of theirs @johntims (Yo!). Apologies in advance though if I don't chat on the chat guild since I play on mobile and typing is a hassle. Hopefully
