Hiking Amazing Kraft Mountain at Calico Basin Outside Las Vegas

This weekend my friend Steph and I hiked Kraft Mountain at Calico Basin near Red Rock Canyon just outside Las Vegas, December 22nd 2018.

The weather was the normal amazing December weather here in Vegas, 60ish and sunny!

Kraft mountain is at the end of Calico basin near Red Rock Canyon just a few miles outside of Las Vegas Nevada. About a mile before you hit the Red Rock Canyon visitor center gate, turn right and drive down to Calico Basin.

Unlike Red Rock Canyon, Kraft Mountain is totally free. There is plenty of parking too!

If you're in Vegas and like to hike, I highly recommend it!
