Sales are on the top of the worst jobs one can take. Little pay, too many hours and, as you say, high % of the boss being an enslaving idiot.
For me, the worst one was on a chicken factory. The dead chicken arrived on trucks and you had to separate the wings, muscles, head, heart, etc... I was able to withstand for 1 month XD.
