Why do the powers to be want us never to really have fun?
We have to pay for the living we do on this planet, the only animal on the planet that does so. We have to beg companies for vacation time. Count the pennies before we can go somewhere.
Especially in the USA, we work more then any other nation on the planet. We are also the only country that you can lose everything you have because you have become sick. We have learning that is just repetition and not a knowledge of reality. We place limitations on true learning. Told never to look outside the box. What we are really told in the end is how to be productive consumers, life is only about shopping for newer toys. Most of the time the newer item is really not that much more exciting then the item that was sold before it.
Our retirement comes after we have worn ourselves out working for 40-50 years. When we cannot do the things we could do in our youth.
We should be young and free, we should live and always enjoy the world we have. What we really need is more love, more joy. Plant gardens of flowers and vegetables, cut the spending, and cut the overtime to pay for it. There is only one today, and at midnight tonight, it will become tomorrow.
