If you do visit china, then Bullet trains are best source of transportation. You will find it in almost all provinces, it travels at the speed of more than 350km. All the time, you will see full rush in these trains. The tickets are also not much expensive, if you don't buy food outside, you can easily have it inside the train but prices may differ. So better take it with yourself. It starts on its time exactly and seldom it lates.
I myself experience it from shezhen to Guangzhou, I feel it very comfortable, so I would recommend it for your easy transport services..
